LAURYN BEST - CVHS EDITOR-IN-CHIEF
Lauryn Best was born on June 10, 1999 in Washington D.C and is currently 17 year old and a senior at Citrus Valley High School. She has had a keen interest in reading since she was a young girl, partly due to the fact that her mother is an English teacher in the Rialto School district, and partly to stave off the boredom that comes from being the only girl of her siblings. Lauryn has been active in the band programs of both Clement Middle School and Citrus Valley in all her years of attendance and credits music of all kinds (except for screamo) to be a calming presence in the stressful world of mandatory education. She’s the Presidential Assistant of the French Club and Vice President of Citrus Valleys' Black Student Union. She is excited to go into her first and last year of being a member of TRUE Ethic as Editor-in-Chief of the Citrus Valley branch, and hopes to write intriguing articles over the course of the school year.
